Lady Maia is the High Priestess of Ravenwood Church and Seminary of the Old Religion, based in the Atlanta area. She began her journey as a Wiccan priestess in the late 1980s under the tutelage of Lady Sintana, Witch Queen, Elder High Priestess and Founder of the Ravenwood Tradition. Lady Maia received her Third Degree and Ordination in 2004 from Ravenwood Church and Seminary of the Old Religion. Her over 20 years’ experience running active covens includes founding Tidal Moon Grove in 2003 and becoming High Priestess of Ravenwood in 2010. The majority of her time in this role is spent teaching seekers and supporting initiates in their journey through the Seminary. In addition to speaking at colleges to students interested in Wicca and Paganism, Lady Maia continues to be involved in many Pagan and Wiccan outreach events and pride gatherings. For over 25 years, she has worked as a Magical Herbalist and continues to cultivate her interests in Tarot, Astrology, Symbolism and comparative religious studies. Together with Lord Aragorn, High Priest of Ravenwood and the leaders of the Sister Groups within the Tradition, she looks forward to many bright years continuing the work of Lady Sintana and providing education and guidance to those interested in the Traditional Craft.
